USS CAPELLA

Nathan Bridger son of Richard and Sarah Bridger was born on Earth in Independence M.O. He spent his early child hood aboard the USS Roosevelt a ship commanded by his father. In early 2357 Sarah Bridger accepted a posting aboard the USS Davis as chief medical officer. Nathan was sent to live with his grandparents in Salt Lake City Utah.

  In 2359 while patrolling the Romulan nutral zone the Davis was lost with all hands. The death of his mother at age 10 change his life as it would any young child. His father now a admiral took a post in San Francisco to take care of him.

    In 2365 Nathan Bridger entered Star Fleet Academy following in his fathers foot steps. In 2369 he was assigned as an ensign aboard the USS Washington. In 2370 the Federation Embasy on El Kirtyiun VI was over run by rioting citizens when the government collapsed. The Washington was the first starship on the scene Ensign Bridger volunteered to lead the first rescue mission. When a concussion grenade was thrown at the team Ensign Bridger jumped on top of the grenade to save the lives of his crew mates.

 He under went 23 operations and a years worth of physical therapy before he returned to the service.

  Now a Lieutenant in 2371 he was assigned to the USS Lewis as chief of security. While responding to distress call from the SS Freedom the Lewis was attacked by a squadron of Jem Hadar warships. When a lucky shot killed the commanding officer Bridger took command and managed to destroy 3 jem Hadar warships before the Lewis herself was destroyed.In 2372 he under went a court martial and was cleared of all charges and promoted to the rank of full Lieutenant.

      He became a adjutant to Star Fleet Admiral Edward Jellico and began work on developing a experimental stealth fighter. In 2376 Lieutenant Bridger watched in awe at the launch of the X-63.Bridger was the first to test fly it. He remained on Jellicos staff until he was offered a command of his own the federation starship USS Capella
